CS2 Sensitivity Converter (Sens Converter)
Convert your mouse sensitivity from Valorant, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2 and other FPS games to CS2 with 1:1 cm/360 muscle memory preservation.
sensitivity 1.114
How Does Sensitivity Conversion Work?
Different FPS games convert mouse movement into camera angular rotation using engine-specific yaw multipliers. For instance, Counter-Strike 2 uses 0.022 on Source 2, while Valorant uses 0.07 on its Unreal Engine framework.
Therefore, 0.35 sensitivity in Valorant does not produce the same physical distance in CS2. Our tool matches the exact physical distance needed on your mousepad for a 360° turn (cm/360), keeping your muscle memory 100% intact.
Game Engines & Yaw Multipliers of Popular FPS Games
| Game Title | Game Engine | Yaw Multiplier | CS2 Conversion Ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Valorant | Unreal Engine | 0.07000 | Valorant Sens × 3.1818 |
| Counter-Strike 2 / CS:GO | Source 2 / Source | 0.02200 | 1.0000 (Reference) |
| Apex Legends | Modified Source | 0.02200 | Identical to CS2 (1:1) |
| Overwatch 2 | Proprietary | 0.00660 | CS2 Sens × 3.3333 |
| Call of Duty (Warzone / MW) | IW Engine | 0.00660 | CS2 Sens × 3.3333 |
| Rainbow Six Siege | AnvilNext 2.0 | 0.00572 | CS2 Sens × 3.8461 |
| Fortnite | Unreal Engine 5 | 0.005555 | CS2 Sens × 3.9604 |

FOV (Field of View) & Perceived Sensitivity Differences
When cm/360 matches 1:1, moving your mouse the exact same distance rotates your character the exact same degrees. However, because Valorant (103 FOV) and CS2 (90 H-FOV or 4:3 stretched) feature different camera fields of view, the optical flow speed at the edges of the screen may feel slightly different.
Because muscle memory relies strictly on rotational angle per distance (cm/360), playing 1-2 Deathmatch matches will allow your eyes and reflexes to adapt seamlessly within 10-15 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I convert my Valorant sensitivity to CS2?
Multiply your Valorant sensitivity by 3.181818 to find your exact CS2 sensitivity. For example, if you play 0.35 in Valorant, 0.35 × 3.1818 = 1.114 sensitivity in CS2.
Is CS2 and Apex Legends sensitivity identical?
Yes! Both CS2 and Apex Legends use Valve's Source engine yaw value of 0.022. At the same mouse DPI, your Apex Legends sensitivity is 100% identical (1:1) to your CS2 sensitivity.
Why is maintaining cm/360 distance crucial?
cm/360 represents the physical centimeters your hand travels on the mousepad for a complete 360° turn. Preserving this ensures your muscle memory executes the exact same flick distance across every FPS game.
Does changing mouse DPI affect the conversion?
Yes. If you use different DPI between games (e.g. 400 DPI in Valorant and 800 DPI in CS2), unlock the DPI toggle and enter your target DPI to automatically balance hardware differences.
Does 4:3 stretched resolution affect sensitivity?
Physically no; the engine rotates the exact same degrees per distance. However, because horizontal pixels are stretched, targets appear to move faster horizontally. The vast majority of CS2 pros keep m_yaw at default 0.022.
How do I apply sensitivity via the CS2 console?
Open the CS2 developer console (~) and type "sensitivity [value]" (e.g. "sensitivity 1.114"). The copy button in our tool copies this command directly to your clipboard.
